In some cases there is no existing infrastructure whether proprietary or open-source to use in building a new website or hosted application. In this case Techhammer can build a website entirely from the ground up. Obviously there is a significantly higher cost in building custom web software, yet in most cases the cost is greatly dwarfed by the overall success... after all no one else has anything like what you have built, it is completely custom.
Techhammer uses only the most stable and global technologies in our development process. Building a niche website that only a handful of clients can access or requires extensive unknown or untested plug-ins will limit your target audience significantly.
As with all our work, we pride ourselves in our high level of quality and workmanship. We maintain strict levels of adherence to worldwide standards, we document our coding to ensure your IT department can make modifications easily in the future, and we have in place strict levels of backup procedures, security policies and project checklisting. Our process of taking a project from concept to reality within a specified timeframe is blindly simply. Yet with this simply process, we have enjoyed a high success rate and our former and current customers alike comment on our efficiency. Below you can see a diagram of how our 5 phase process works. Feel free to ask any questions by using our contact page.
- Ordering Customer (Corporation, Organization, Company, Individual etc..)
- Techhammer's development team.
- Techhammer's international hosting resources. Staging platform for the development phase.
- Final project hosting (hosted on Techhammers resource or the customers existing hosting.
- Project concept. The ordering customer describes the project in as much detail as they desire including ideas, current examples, concept art, color preference, technical specifications, time frames and deadlines, technology requests and all things pertaining to the project that the customer would like to see developed.
- After agreeing with the customer on specifications, timeframe and pricing, the Techhammer development team begins to build the project using its inhouse staging servers (for speed, efficiency and security). This stage takes approxiametly 50 percent of the entire cycle (from start to finish).
- As the project begins to take shape, the customer will be allowed inspections of the progress at certain intervals. Techhammer will ask for feedback during this stage to ensure the project is on track and to the customers approval. This stage may be repeated multiple times (depending on the scope and scale of the project).
- When the project is finished and has been tested by Techhammers internal testing department, the project is presented to the customer for a final inspection. In the event of issues being discovered or the customer would like additional features (all additions must be cleared through the sales department first) repeat phase 3.
- Upon approval from the customer, Techhammer will upload the live site (and migrate all live data if applicable) to the predetermined web hosting.
